Sosialisasi Penguatan Hak dan Kewajiban Kesehatan Anak melalui Edukasi Berbasis Pancasila di Dusun Sering

Abstract

Children’s understanding of their rights and responsibilities in the health sector needs to be strengthened from an early age because children are not only recipients of protection, but also rights-holders who must be able to recognize their health needs, express complaints, access services, and participate in maintaining their own health and that of their environment. This issue is particularly important for kindergarten and elementary school children, as health knowledge and habits are still forming, while their understanding of health rights, health responsibilities, and their application in daily life still requires guidance. This community service activity aimed to improve children’s understanding of their health-related rights and responsibilities through education based on the values of Pancasila in Dusun Sering, Sumbawa Regency. The activity was held on 19 June 2026 and was attended by 15 children from kindergarten and elementary school levels. The methods used included a preparation stage, delivery of material through interactive lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, demonstrations of clean and healthy living behaviors, and evaluation through observation of participation and oral questions. The material covered children’s rights to access health services, their responsibilities to maintain personal health, and the importance of applying Pancasila values in daily life, especially in maintaining personal and environmental health. The results showed high participant enthusiasm and improved understanding of health rights and responsibilities, clean and healthy living behaviors, and the application of Pancasila values in everyday life. Pancasila-based health education should be developed sustainably by involving families, schools, health workers, village governments, and the wider community.
