Meneguhkan Martabat Manusia: Telaah Filosofis tentang Hak Asasi Manusia di Indonesia examines the position of human rights within the framework of democracy and the rule of law in Indonesia. This study is motivated by the continuing occurrence of human rights violations, both by individuals and state authorities, despite the existence of constitutional guarantees and legal protections. The objective of this research is to analyze the forms of human rights, the role of the state in protecting those rights, the realities of human rights violations, and the social, economic, and political factors that influence them. The research employs a normative juridical approach through literature study by examining laws, official documents, books, and relevant academic journals related to human rights and democracy. The findings show that fundamental human rights in Indonesia include the right to life and security, freedom of opinion and religion, and the rights to education, health, and social welfare. However, the implementation of these rights is often hindered by weak law enforcement, abuse of power, social inequality, poverty, intolerance, and limited public awareness regarding human dignity. This study implies that the protection of human rights requires stronger legal enforcement, human rights education, and active participation from both the government and society in building a democratic and humane nation.
