Efek Pankreoprotektif Infusa Biji Ketumbar (Coriandrum Sativum) terhadap Kadar Glukosa Darah Puasa pada Tikus Jantan Putih Galur Wistar yang Diinduksi Aloksan

Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterized by high levels of glucose in the blood. This disease is caused by several factors, one of which is damage to pancreatic cells. Coriander seeds contain compounds that play a role in the protection and regeneration of pancreatic cells. There are several studies that state that coriander seeds can reduce blood glucose levels, but there is no research that states that coriander seeds can protect pancreatic cells. This study aims to determine the pancreoprotective effect of coriander seed infusion using blood glucose levels as a measurement indicator. This research uses an experimental design with a pretest and posttest design. Using 30 mice divided into 3 groups as research samples. This research was carried out by giving coriander infusion first and then giving alloxan as a trigger to increase the rats' blood glucose levels. The results of data analysis using the One Way Anova test showed a sigma value (p < 0.05) which stated that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. There is an effect of giving coriander seed infusion (Coriandrum Sativum L) as a pancreoprotective effect on rat blood glucose levels.
